Our Story

The story of Honey Shea began with a search for a reasonably priced soap, gentle enough for  sensitive skin, with subtle but noticeable fragrances. Unable to find a product to meet my specific needs, I thought, what if I made my own? I have always enjoyed creating new things and found the idea of soap-making intriguing. Having an innate entrepreneurial spirit and a proclivity toward research I decided to immerse myself in the soap-making tradition. The result of my effort is what you will find in my product selection: premium bath bars with rich lather, pleasant fragrances, and essential oils to promote soft healthy skin.

Our Process

Honey Shea uses tried and tested artisan soap making techniques. Our processes are well researched, following traditional standards to ensure the utmost quality. Our handmade cold processed bars are prepared in small batches to guarantee a superior product every time.

Our Ingredients

Honey Shea takes pride in using only the highest quality all-natural ingredients. In  addition our signature ingredients, Shea Butter and Natural Raw Honey, some of our base oils include sustainable Palm oil, Coconut oil, pure Olive oil, Avocado oil, Grapeseed oil, Castor oil, Argan oil, Jojoba oil, Babassu oil, and Sweet Almond oil. Additionally, we enjoy using pure Aloe Vera gel, and either all-natural colorants or safe soap colorants. All of our fragrances are derived from 100% essential oils or fragrance oils that comply with the strictest global RIFM and IFRA standards. Those with allergies or sensitive skin need not worry when using Honey Shea products. We are careful to list every ingredient that goes into a specific batch so that our customers can make choices according to their unique needs. You can rest assure that Honey Shea makes each product with you in mind.
